Its Alive!

I've been away for a while, working on Leapforce mostly, its turned out to be a good supplement to my regular income. But I have a new goal, I'm planning to retire (from my library job anyway) in 2 years. I'll still have to work though.  So I'm back to looking into more opportunities to make money working from home, and this blog will be revived.

Recently I've done some paid surveys and focus groups, found some "lost" money online, investigated mystery shopping, and I'm working on some other ideas.  I'll be posting about all of these in the coming days.

  1. Hey, I found your blog cause I'm looking for opinions from Leapforce workers... I applied today (from Brazil) and I have no idea what to expect from this job! Does it take up a lot of your time? Another thing I want to know is, do you know how to quit it? I'm worried that I may not have enough time to do it... Thanks a lot

  2. Thanks for your question. Check back later this week, I'm going to post an update on Leapforce and answer some reader's questions. To quickly answer your question, you can spend as much time as you want working, I average about 1 hour a day but rarely work more than 3 hours in one day. I work a full-time job as well as doing Leapforce work so my time is limited too.

  3. I also have a question about Leapforce. I feel I have a fairly good grasp on the concept but I still have one more question. I am planning on leaving my FT job and working from home. Would I be able to work more than just a few hours a day? Is there enough work avialable?
    Thanks!

  4. Amanda, thanks for your question. Unfortunately I don't think that you can count on Leapforce to consistently have more than a few hours of work per day. Often in the summer there is not much work available; and you never know when you will run out of work. I suggest that you supplement your Leapforce work with other ways of making money from home. It is risky to count too much on any one thing, that's why I am constantly exploring new ways of making extra money. Keep checking back on the blog, I'm working on some new ideas right now and I'll be reporting on them soon.
Thanks for your interest in my blog!

  5. Thanks, Janice! I am actually planning on working with West At Home and have recently signed up with Convergys. I've worked for West previously and was able to stay busy and make a decent wage. Unfortunately I don't know much about Convergys yet. Have you had any experience with them?

    1. Hi Amanda. I don't know anything about Convergys. I haven't been researching customer service/call center work because that's not my thing. But you remind me that I should write something about it for the blog because I'm sure it would be a good job for folks who are interested in it.

Can you tell me a little about West At Home--Do you have set hours that you work or can you sign in and work whenever you have time? Are you trained to do customer service for several different companies or just specialize in one? And does it pay well?

      Thanks
